When it comes to product icons there a several different ways to implement them.
With a button size of 140px * 200px I prefer wider product images than higher ones. When we actually look at drinks though, a bottle is higher than wide. I took a look at MetePad, the cashdesk that is used at chaosdorf. Instead of using actual images they just use the logos of the different brands. This would be a lot more compatible with our current button size.
In this example we have both: The product and the logo. This could be the way to find the balance between having the visibility of the bottletype (bottle sizes for example) and the visibility of the type of drink that is going to be bought.
