reset to default without reflashing?

Hello, I am in a situation where the board rebooted just after if I upload a fseq file from the web interface. Now even removing the SD card the board the continuously reboots. The only way I know to make it work again is to refresh it. Is there another way to reset to default values?
P.S i think the reboot issue is ultimately related to the number of pixels (as described in the issue #835)

There was a race condition in some of the early February builds that caused a rolling reboot. This is resolved as of the Feb 21 builds.
