"Freeze" past events?

Currently the videos are constantly updating, should we 'freeze' them to be the specific videos at the time? (To see exactly what it was like)

But alternatively, maybe someone wants to follow an old course, like their friend followed, they would want to see the newest videos on the same topic.

freeze videos in event pages but add button "there is a newer version available"?
