Investigate Android 15 changes

I just wanted to note that after chatting with @lognaturel some more, we're both feeling that we should add android:windowOptOutEdgeToEdgeEnforcement="true" to activity declarations to avoid needing to make the edge to edge change when upgrading our target to Android 15/API 35. I'm open to experimenting with edge to edge in places that might benefit from it (like our map screens) however.
