When doing user research, we heard that fullscreen mode would be very helpful for those that are co-designing with communities. Interacting on a small map is cumbersome.

"The map is too tiny and hard to use. Ideally having a toggle between map full screen and question view - Daniel

“We have fisher people trying to indicate the reference points, but when the map is so small it’s not possible.” Wants a Collect experience where the map takes up the entire screen. Their goal is for fishermen/ women to indicate the changes they’ve seen and if the conditions have changed. The ability to zoom in and see the whole map is much better. - Rachel

User stories

As a user filling out a form
I want to expand my map to full screen
So that I can better see what I'm looking at and/or collaborate with others in a larger view

As a PM editing a submission
I want to expand my map to full screen
So that I can better see what I'm looking at

Given I'm interacting with a geo question
When I click the expand icon on the right
Then then the map expands to full view with the panel to the left

Given I want to close the expanded view
When I click exit full screen icon
Then I'm taken back to the default view with the panel below
