• Wait, where is this happening again?

- Saturday, December 9th at 6pm at 501 Union. Located at 501 Union St, Brooklyn, NY.

Please note, the wedding is on Union Street (not Avenue) -- be careful, otherwise you'll end up far away in Williamsburg.

• Wait, I only got one envelope? How do I RSVP?

- Don't worry, you're in just the place. We think that extra little envelope is silly, and apparently sending them back is a significant challenge for us millennials. Instead, scroll up, click that "RSVP" button, enter your name and tell us who your dance partner will be (or if you've got other plans on December 9th).

• How do I get there?

- Taxi/Uber/Lyft is easiest. You can also take the F or G train to the Carroll St and walk 5 blocks or take the R train to Union St and walk 3 blocks.

• Where is the venue?

- Gowanus!

• Eww, isn't Gowanus gross?

- Once upon a time, yes! Gowanus is actually a superfund site. And while it can still be a little gross at times, it's now filled with lots of fun restaurants, bars, and other random activities. Gowanus even got its own Whole Foods a couple years ago--so you know it's made it.

• Where should I stay?

- We encourage you to stay in Brooklyn (see fun things to do below), but we realize this might not be for everyone. Not to worry! There are plenty of great hotels in Manhattan. It's very easy to get to Gowanus from Manhattan (20 minute cab from Lower Manhattan, 30 minute cab from Midtown). Greg strongly encourages you to not stay in Times Square. It is touristy, overpriced, crowded, and dirty.

• We're from out of town. Where should we fly into?

- LGA and JFK are your best bets. You can also fly into EWR (Newark). If you go the EWR route, I recommend taking an Uber to your hotel (NJ cab drivers aren't very good).

• What should I wear?

- Holiday cocktail? Short, long, suit, tie - anything works. KP will be in white and Greg will wear a suit, the rest is up to you.

• Is my child invited?

- No.

• Where is the Brooklyn Bridge?

- The Brooklyn Bridge spans the East River and connects DUMBO to Lower Manhattan. From the Brooklyn Brige Marriott or Hilton it's about a 15 minute walk. You can get on the bridge here. It is a little tricky to find--it's actually underneath the bridge itself. Look for people selling worthless trinkets or hot dogs.

• Where is Williamsburg?

- Williamsburg is the part of Brooklyn featured on TV shows such as Girls. It's a part of North Brooklyn. We don't really go there, so unfortunately we can't tell you much about it.

• Any suggestions on fun things to do while we're in Brooklyn?

- Yeah!

Brooklyn Heights Promenade - Looking for a nice stroll? Head to the Promenade. Walk to the end of Montague Street and then walk along as you enjoy beautiful views of Lower Manhattan.

NY Transit Museum - Fun museum teaching you the history of the New York City subway system.

Brooklyn Museum - Art museum located on the border of Prospect Park.

Brooklyn Bridge Park - Check out the bridge and take some pictures of lower Manhattan.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden - A great spot to explore, even in the winter. There are 4-5 greenhouses that have everything from ponds to bonsai!

Prospect Park - Run or bike the loop, visit the farmer's market on Saturdays, or just take a stroll. Prospect Park is always good for some people watching!

Head to Black Mountain where you can cozy up next to New York's #1 rated fireplace (quite the distinction) with a drink. Bonus: It's 2 blocks from the venue.

Other Half Brewing - Greg's favorite brewery! Other Half is a bit more bare-bones but serves up some great brews! 5 minute cab ride from the venue.

Three's Brewing - Great place to have a lunch and dinner and enjoy a wide variety of craft adult beverages. 5 blocks from the venue.

Royal Palms Suffleboard Club - A fan favorite. Royal Palms is a lot of fun! Good for friends and family alike. It's also on the same block as the venue. Plan ahead, the wait for a lane can be pretty long!

Hillside Dog Park - Lia insisted we put this on the list. This is her favorite place in Brooklyn! If you've brought a furry friend along with you, visit Hillside! 🐾
