Better error message when experiments fail to run #170

At the moment when an experiment fail to run for whatever reason, it will sit in the Pending section forever.

Users can check the log file to find out what's the reason for failure, but many of them won't do that.

It would be good to extract some kind of message from the log file maybe and show that to the user, so they know why their experiments have failed.
