abstract: >-
This simulation model is the outcome of the
analysis framework used to represent the
electricity system from a socio-technical point of
view. The computer simulation model bridges
qualitative historical narratives with quantitative
analysis using the Victorian electricity system as
a case study. This approach helped validate the
system's performance against historical data,
giving confidence in the model to explore future
transition pathways.
GR4SP stands for Generic Recursive Simulation of
Socio-technical Systems for Service Provision. The
simulation model uses energy (electricity) data
from the Victorian system, but GR4SP's structure
can be generalised to other systems for service
provision.
