Often auto-refresh creating imposible reading of houston boards

Our pb:
we are facing a really often auto-refresh (i.e every 10 seconds) due to our app automatic clock set action (like notifications, emails, etc.), which make houston boards completely impossible to be read.

Is there a possible to acess to some auto-refresh time settings, in order to postpone to every 10 mins this refresh action ?
