KableExtra can not deal with cells start with < #829

Example:

x = data.frame(x=c('<20','>30'))
library(kableExtra)
kbl(x,escape = F) %>%
kable_styling()

The result will make <20 disappear

Hmm,
This is not true for me on FreeBSD with kableExtra v1.4.0. I get the full cell contents, including the '<' char.
