First: really thanks for this extension. It really improves the Gnome UX for those (like me) that are used to Unity.

When I have the config option "Show window buttons in the top bar" configured to "Maximized" and I close all application windows, this will keep a "close" button remaining in the top bar (see below screenshot):

Of course, expected behavior is: after close all windows, no close button is displayed in the top bar.

It disappears if I click anywhere in the empty desktop.

Hi @raelgc, sorry for the late response.

I can't replicate the issue. Please try the latest version.

If the issue is not resolved, provide system info and the output of ournalctl /usr/bin/gnome-shell.
