Following message dialogs have been identified in slowing down the workflow in the Alignment dialog (format Table Control dialog):

In both tabs Move and Contacts, button Move:

no need for question: "Do you want to move table to position '...'?"
no need for warning: "Limiting Z movement to ... mm to protect probe card.", replace by logging message.
