As apt handles dependencies fine, shouldn't it be possible to install them ?

I have the same question. I was able to add a .deb file in Aptfile but now I need to run a dpkg -i. How do I do it?
I also want to know where the .deb file gets downloaded.

Dependencies are installed on ~/.apt folder as described here
