- IMPORTANT: please have a look here - https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/blob/main/doc/important-information.md
- rockchip legacy kernel v5.10.110 (as mainline is not there yet for rk3588) with patches from armbian
- boot blocks taken from armbian as well for now
- so far only tested to work on an orange pi 5 sbc booting from sd card
- boot blocks and dtb files included for radxa rock 5b as well, but not yet tested
230122-01 - experimental debian bookworm image for rockchip rk3566 and rk3568 based devices
- this is just an experimental testing image
- see: https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/tree/main/systems/rockchip_rk356x
- IMPORTANT: please have a look here - https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/blob/main/doc/important-information.md
- kernel v6.1.6 mainline with patches from minimyth2
- boot blocks taken from minimyth2 as well for now
- so far only tested to work on a x96 x6 tv box booting from sd card (ethernet and wifi not working yet, but usb ethernet works)
- boot blocks and dtb files included for pine64 quartz64 b, radxa rock 3a and 3b as well, but not yet tested
230115-01 - experimental debian sid image for the starfive visionfive2 riscv64 sbc
- this is just an experimental testing image
- see: https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/tree/main/systems/starfive_visionfive2
- based on debian sid/unstable riscv64 port
- the v5.15 kernel used is based on VF2_v2.6.0 of the starfive visionfive2 kernel tree and some patches from the icenowy star64 kernel tree
- framebuffer console added (part of the patches mentioned above)
- a v5.15 backport of mglru added (multigen lru mm patches, which were merged into v6.1 mainline and improve performance especially in low memory situations)
- has some features typical for the images here: btrfs rootfs with zstd compression, zswap with zstd compression, mgrlu enabled by default
- i guess it requires at least the v2.5.0 u-boot and sbi update in the spl to work properly
- username/password is as usual linux/changeme
230109-01 - debian bookworm images for aarch64/arm64 chromebooks based on the mediatek mt819x soc (asurada and cherry)
- this is just an experimental testing image
- see: https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/tree/main/systems/chromebook_asurada and https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/tree/main/systems/chromebook_cherry
- IMPORTANT: please have a look here - https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/blob/main/doc/important-information.md
- kernel version used: v6.1.0 ( the chromeos kernel mainline integration tree for the mt819x chromebooks at collabora)
- minimal asurada testing has been done on a spherion chromebook, no cherry testing yet (not sure if it even works for cherry, but it might)
- debian bookworm only for now
221101-01 - experimental debian bookworm images for snapdragon 7c and 835/msm8998 based laptops like the samsung galaxy book go and the asus novago
- for more information see: https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/blob/main/systems/snapdragon_7c_woa/readme.md and https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/blob/main/systems/snapdragon_835/readme.md
- IMPORTANT: please have a look here - https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/blob/main/doc/important-information.md
- those images are very much work in progress and only ment for other swho might want to help brining up linux support for such systems - they are basically running, but a lot of things are not working yet or not properly yet, so they are really nothing for daily use - use them at your own risk as the bringup of those systems is still in its very early stages
- currently supported are the samsung galaxy book go for the 7c image and the asus novago for the 835 image, but they can be used as a starting point for adding support for other similar devices
- username/password is linux/changeme and the hostname is set to changeme as well
220912-02 - debian bullseye and ubuntu jammy images for intel atom (z3470d, z8300, z8350 etc.) systems (often tablets) with 32bit uefi boot
- see: https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/tree/main/systems/atom_x86_with_32bit_uefi
- kernel version used: default distribution kernel
- libreoffice has been dropped to get a small enough image (can be easily installed later if wanted)
- the jammy image had to be compressed with xz instad of gzip to get the image size small enough
- bullseye image with 32bit i686 userland available as well
- not all images are tested yet (but i think they should work)
