I would suggest helping @HereAround in managing ToricVarieties_project with PackageJanitor.

This is currently not a high priority since you already have a functioning release process. This issue is just a reminder for us. But in the long run, this might simplify some of your processes. Once you have a PacakgeJanitor support for your package, some of the technical files can be generated automatically.
