I have been using for a while, and it seems sometimes it wont connect the first time. The only way i can get it to work is by stop command. sudo perl nipe.pl stop followed by a start command sudo perl nipe.pl start. Repeat it for a few times and it should work. #135

Hi @Arn2965,

I just published a new version of Nipe, can you test it and tell me if it works now?

If it doesn't work, can you give me more information? Like the distribution they are using or any other information they find pertinent?

Thanks!

Hey @Arn2965,
Recently the Nipe has had many updates. Resolve some bugs that we managed to identify. Can we test again?
Thanks.

Hi,
I encounter the same issue on several devices both running Debian-like distro:

  • An old ASUS R510L with bookworm where I installed perl modules through debian repo rather than cpan (libconfig-simple-perl ; libio-socket-ssl-perl; libjson-perl and libtry-tiny-perl)
  • A qemu/kvm [debian testing] and [kali] boxes with perl modules installed by the same way

Everytime and for all devices, I need to proceed to a start-then-stop-then-start to run nipe.
Let me know if you need mode informations to debug this
