This model patch seems to be severely beaten in the dev branch. I'll probably need to recap what it was doing back in 09.5.7 in order to port it.

Alas, I see that this is now using the prototype C++ implementation that @tap worked on in Albi.

This opens up some questions for consideration:

  • Are we able to have the same inlet/outlet conventions in these modules as in Max-coded models (left inlet/outlet for OSC?
  • If not, would it be an idea to use a very simple max wrapper around the external helps us getting inlets and outlets right/consistent?

We should probably examine this further at the workshop at BEK February 2014.

My suggestion (yes, back to it) would be to switch Jamoma convention back to the one in Max, i.e. control outlet to the right of the signal inlets
This also sounds more in line with the way 0.6 works (not so much is done through patch cords any more to control the modules)
Plus the wrapper thing sounds a heavy solution IMHO
Sorry for pushing this again ;-)

I tried and it won't work. The inlets can be re-ordered but the outlets cannot (crash).

Let's discuss at the workshop, but to be honest I am very much opposed to changing how inlets/outlets work.

We have switched the inlet and outlet ordering. Case closed.
