For the (upcoming) plotly 3d figure, commit 5db32a0 added a 3d arrow. Unfortunately, the legend entry for this arrow is only a line of the same color, but not an arrow. As the arrow itself is already a hack to plotly, having a nice arrow in the legend seems not possible right now. Hopefully this can be solved with an upcoming plotly version.
