Why is sly-stepper not an in-tree contrib? #648

Sly-stepper feels like it should be a default feature given it is the logical conclusion of stickers. Is there any reason to keep it out of tree?

Not a very strong reason. You want to propose bringing it here in a pull request, complete with some testing etc?
