When you set the VR7x configuration in your VRCxxx it sets up the VR7x so it knows which inputs are VR10 or VR11 etc, and which relays control mixer valves:
ss ss ss ss ss ss
12 34 56 78 91 11
cfg 0 12
1: 01 01 00 00 00 00 01 02 00 03
2: 01 01 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 03
3: 01 01 00 00 00 20 22 00 00 00
6: 01 01 01 00 00 00 00 22 02 00
I am not sure about the first 4 bytes in the VR71 config - it looks like they should be mixer control, but config-3 has 3 mixer zones, and i guess the 4th byte is unused, as the "R13" connection in the VR71 seem to be not an output at all.
