Steps to reproduce the issue

We setup a clean Joomla 5 installation and connected the site with our LDAP-Server. When login in for the first time they get an error message like "Call to a member function assign() on null". When trying to login a second time, it works (reproduced it now with more than 40 profiles).
When trying to change profile information, in joomla user magement or community builder, we get the error message "Password cannot be null error". It seams like the LDAP plugin isn't generating a password for them. That's not permitted in Joomla. But we use the original Joomla LDAP-Plugin

Expected result

Full synchronication of the users and ability to change profile informations.

Actual result

Error message "Password cannot be null" and the changed profile information are not saved.

System information (as much as possible)
