In general, this sounds interesting and I would add it to this fork of kafka-gitops if you provided a pull request with working tests. 😄

This being said, given the dormant state of the upstream project and the bigger feature set of JulieOps, I thought about implementing a migration path for the configuration of kafka-gitops to the configuration format of JulieOps.

But now that project is also dormant since November 2022 unfortunately. 🙄

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this?
