Hello,

Thank you Jeremy for all your work on retrolab!

I noticed the JEP that retrolab will be the upcoming notebook v7.

Could I point out some issue opened on jupyterlab some time ago for feature parity with the classic notebook.

jupyterlab/jupyterlab#7535

I wonder if retrolab is the place to address this, rather than jupyterlab ?

Thanks @bassio for opening this issue.

In general if the changes can be made upstream in JupyterLab so they can be applied to both JupyterLab and RetroLab then it's great. It helps keep the notebook experience more consistent between the two interfaces and RetroLab doesn't need special treatment.

Probably a draft PR could be opened in JupyterLab to start experimenting with a solution to fix jupyterlab/jupyterlab#7535.
