Upgrading to CodeIgniter4 is strongly recommended

CodeIgniter3 has not been updated for over a year already. It also does not support PHP 8.2.
No official announcement has been made, but there is almost no maintainer.
I could say that it is practically not maintained already.

Unless you maintain CodeIgniter3 yourself, I recommend that you upgrade to CodeIgniter4 as soon as possible.
