Error while sending message

While I am implementing the example I am getting an Alert like 'Oops! Network request failed'.
Please help me.

To add to the 'Oops! Network request failed' alert i can't check if it accepts other characters besides numbers as it's input. I don't know if you would think that as completely necessary seeing that the string entered would be verified by the code sent to a valid number. It would be cool though.

Could someone solve it or have another tool? I heard that you can use react-native-firebase, its a alternative but it doesnt work with expo.

If some has other alternative, thanks in advance.
