When do prometheus alert set via promgen, It will occur 'reload' action?

May I ask something..?

when prometheus set alert via promgen, it would be 'reload' action?
I concern about when add a single simple alert to already existed alert list( if heavy amount alerts are already registered in prometheus ), I think promethues 'reload' action will be occured. is it?

Prometheus is only reloaded, if you change exporters/rules. Changing the subscribed notifiers in Promgen does not trigger a reload.
