I'd like to be able to assign band members to cabins like attendees can be assigned to tents. #51

So the location of band members can be looked up, instead of being stored in my brain which is far less accessible than Uber.

OK, a few questions about implementation:

  1. Should cabins be assigned on the Band Admin page (and therefore be per-band) or on the Attendee admin page?
  2. Should this be a dropdown (populated by config, of course) or an input field?
  3. If the answer to 2 is "dropdown," what are the cabin options?

Cabin Options aren't in the system yet, that is part of the site assignments that I am writing up today.
We shouldn't do per-band as sometimes we double up performers in the cabins if it's a small group.

The assignment can be part of the attendee admin field: "Site Number" That can have cabin names or site numbers since some of them will camp as well.

implemented as part of attendee.site_number, though we can revisit this after 2016 for sure

The the only thing I can see in scope of this issue would be to have an "Assign all Group Members to Site/Cabin' drop-down in on the Group Menu. Is that a huge ask?
