Feature Request: create Python bindings for this library

This library seems awesome! Just wanted to throw out the idea of creating Python bindings for it one day for easy integration into scripts.

I understand you probably won't do it, but I just wanted to create this issue as a point of discussion for anyone interested in doing it one day (so ideally, please don't close it even if it's not planned).
