I'm trying to type some stuff into a page w/ artoo, and i think simulate() will do the trick.

i've never used simulate(), though, so i have no idea what the syntax is.

the github page for simulate linked in the artoo docs has no documentation, and the only docs i can find are for jquery-simulate-ext.

are there any examples I could look at, or docs somewhere on how to use simualte?

as i recall it really only is an easy accessor to jquery-simulate, so you should be ok applying the doc from over there :)

thanks @boogheta! unfortunately i can't actually find any docs for simulate() in the link provided in the artoo docs: https://github.com/jquery/jquery-simulate

Do know if the docs in https://github.com/j-ulrich/jquery-simulate-ext will suffice for jquery-simulate?

I'm not too familiar w/ jQuery, so forgive me if these are simplistic questions :)

jquery-simulate is indeed a bit rough if you need to simulate some precise typing. But you can indeed load jquery-simulate-ext and apply it to artoo.$ to use it by loading the source code.
