Dragonfly Early Reflections causing my play cursor to not move in Reaper

The moment I insert Early Reflections in the track fx the play cursor doesn't move at all after pressing the play button. But the track plays. Once again, the track sound plays but UI wise the play cursor doesn't move

Not only cursor. it freezes all animated UI including vu meters etc. Have same issue in Reaper and Audacity.

When I insert CLAP or VST3 version of Early Reflections Reaper freezes, I am on MacOS 14.5 and using Reaper 7.17 on arm64.

VST2 and 3 versions make Reason hard crash completely and Ableton Live 12 will lock up (both on Intel Mac)
