Description of the new feature / enhancement

Is it planned to make Powertoys an UWP?

Scenario when this would be used?

It could be updated over the Microsoft Store which would make it way more conventional.

Any news?

I think UWP is too restrictive for the things we're doing. You can read in issue #413 what difficulties we had getting it into the store, before win32 apps were allowed.

But maybe @jaimecbernardo or @crutkas can prove me wrong

No plans to do this type of technical adjustment at this time. We are proactively adjusting things to enable this without needing this type of adjustment.
