Summary of the new feature/enhancement

Find an Object, apply an Action (ie: copy a file)
The ability to use Tab (or another key) to apply Actions to a selected Object. ie: I find a .jpg file, hit Tab (list of possible actions is displayed), type 'c' and select Copy. File copied. The default Action would always be Open. ie: Open a URL, open an app, etc.

Currently tab is working, but there's no visual. We're fixing this in master #3483

closing this, as it will be tracked there

Actually, I don't think this is a duplicate.

Currently Run acts mostly as a launcher only. What I'm suggesting is making it run like Quicksilver or Launchbar on Mac, where:

  1. Object is found/selected
  2. Object is acted upon with a separate sub-list of "actions". These actions would include file operations such as Copy, Paste, Open folder, with Open/Launch being the default if none are selected.

I hope this makes sense. Tab is only the 'way' to get to this list of actions.

Currently I think Tab and the up/down arrow keys act in the same manner.
