this in in regards to the TypeAliasDeclaration now in master.

    export type EntityName = Identifier | QualifiedName;

I noticed that the type alias is expanded in the rest of the declaration file produced. I'm unclear if this is a problem because I can't find this syntax in typescript/master/doc/spec.md.

Already tracking this issue in #984. It doesn't actually affect the meaning of the code, a type alias is exactly equivalent to the type it aliases.

Documentation for type aliases is in #998. Should be in master soon.
