sudden slowness in the past week

I don’t know what happened. Did my version upgrade? It’s now 1.23.10353.0

OMG. The same scripts I’ve been running for 3–4 months — about 10 instances of — now make things CRAWL.

I mean, hit a key, and it doesn’t come out for 5 seconds crawl.

And not just that. If it hits one wt window, it affects ALL of them! So you can’t just open another and work in it while the 1st is slow.

It’s one script in particular. Was fine before. Now isn’t. Nothing changed on my end. It’s not very special except that it accesses a lot of files.

So nebulous. But it’s so upsetting to have everything I do be thwarted. I’ve had to stop and browse the web for 30 minutes because I’ve had zero access to ANY command line, but didn’t want to kill the running scripts.

Something’s horribly wrong, and I don’t even know why.

CPU usage? never over 20%.
RAM? got 128G
