How to create a manual entry in your DNS server? #125

Hi,
Sorry for asking but to get Ycast running I need to create a manual entry in my DNS server......
I have a KPN Experia V10 modem but I can not find out how to complete this task.
Can someone help?

Hello,
Not sure if your router has the possibilities to change any DNS forwarding rules. For must known routers in private use it's inpossible I think.
Most users installed a raspberry Pi with a running DNS server programme like dnsmasq or pi-hole on it.

not possible with the modem. To make this work you need a DNS Server. If you have a NAS or additional router which can be used as a DNS server than this is possible, for example a synology router.
