browser

the browse command opens a file-browser above the commandline.

press ⌘. to load the current file into the browser.

if a file is selected, the last column displays

  • classes and methods for coffee-script files
  • an image for image files

click on a file to open it in the current tab. click while holding |⌥⌘ to open it in a new tab|window.

shortcuts

up|down page up|down home|end navigate rows left|right navigate columns enter or double click on a directory to load it into the leftmost column ⌘left will load the parent directory of the leftmost column ⌘up make the current column the leftmost column ~ loads the home directory / loads the root directory ⌘K to clean up the column layout

the browser can also be used to browse objects.
