We used to have a rich copy, that would copy the image, link to the shot, and link to the original in a rich form. It was kind of nice, though only worked some places (email and rich text documents). Still, it was interesting, and low-effort since it's just restoring functionality.

This has become a personal papercut when I want to use Page Shot to help compose emails or documents.
