Facebook Container possibly causing Instagram account to be flagged for automated behaviour #953

I appreciate this is a bit of a weird and unconfirmable issue, but I feel like it is worth recording.

I have had an Instagram account for over a decade. I've never really used it, following very few people and mostly accessing it when I click on a link to instagram from elsewhere.

I've had Facebook Container enabled for about two years. At the end of May, I decided to secure my Meta accounts properly since I was migrating over to Bitwarden and had bought a Yubikey. I changed my passwords, and everything seemed fine.
I was then browsing normally as I would, and clicked a link to instagram from a non-container tab. The link opened in a container tab, and I got a message stating "We suspect automated behaviour on your account". I assumed nothing of it since I'd just changed the password and figured it was just a random flag.
A few weeks later, Threads was released and I used my account to # there. I followed a few friends, and was using it semi-frequently on my phone. I then went onto PC, and searched for an account I wanted to follow with google. When I clicked on the link and the tab was opened in the container, I was met with the automated behaviour error message again.
Getting concerned, I started instead just using Instagram on my phone as I'd never seen the error there. I made a couple of posts, looked at some posts from some friends, and thought nothing more of it.
The next day I was browsing Wikipedia looking at info for Taskmaster NZ, and there was an annotation for the release date which was a link to instagram. Again this link was opened in the container, but this time my account was suspended and I required to fill in an appeal along with a photograph to get my account back. With no other option aside from losing my accout I did so, and a few days later my account was thankfully reinstated.

Since this happened, I've only used Instagram on my phone out of fear of it happening again. I haven't had any further issues, so eventually I started to let my guard down.
Earlier today, I clicked on a link to Instagram from a site of a band I like. Again the link was opened in the container, and immediately once again I was met with the automated behaviour popup;

As you can imagine, I'm now incredibly apprehensive about losing my account, especially since there's no recourse or support I can get in contact with to figure out what's happening.

The only thing I can reasonably conclude is that there's some weird sort of connection/fingerprinting/tracking issue which is flagging my connection as suspicious when a link followed from a non-container tab opens itself within the container. Every time I have seen the error and on the occasion the account was suspended I was opening a link from a regular tab into a container tab.
The account is secure, and this is confirmed with the login history. I have had no issues when using both Instagram and Threads on my phone. I have no linked applications, and it goes without saying that I have absolutely no automated behaviour.

I have now begrudgingly disabled Facebook Container, and I'm hoping this will be the end of my issues. If I have any further problems I'll update this ticket since it will obviously mean I was incorrect, but the only thing that could possibly be causing this issue is Facebook Container.

If anyone else has experienced similar issues to me I would appreciate any corroboration.
Thanks

I have also had this problem, but when it was coming up I also noticed some automatic reloading behavior on the Instagram website, which sounds similar to the behavior reported by issue #947

Edit: the automatic reloading behavior might be a problem on the Instagram website side, I just noticed it while the contain-facebook extension was disabled too, though maybe not as often as when it's enabled.

Meta deleted my InstaGram (IG) for using third-party chat clients (BitlBee/Pidgin) then sending login code which my phone camera put backwards, so as I no longer have IG since before #947, I don't know if that's related.
