  • If a PIREP is cancelled by a user, then have an endpoint for ACARS apps to hit to cancel
  • Mark the PIREP in a CANCELLED state
  • After X amount of time without any updates and in the IN_PROGRESS state, mark state as CANCELLED
  • After Y amount of time, remove all CANCELLED PIREPs
