Calendar e-mail reminders are not being sent

Steps to reproduce

1. Setup e-mail sending, executing cron, enable "Settings > Groupware > Send notifications for events" and disable "Send reminder notifications to calendar sharees as well".
2. Create event with reminder.

Expected behavior

Event organizer should get e-mail remainder sent by calendar cron job.

Actual behaviour

No e-mail with remainder.

I'm not an expert, but I think the problem lies in the Nextcloud core.

This issue is definitely related to: nextcloud/server#34499
