In one collective i used a .images directory to store the images used in some of the pages.

Now .images shows up in the page list and the app even created a Readme.md file for it.

I suggest not to include directories that do not have any .md-files yet in the list of pages.

alternative would be to have a media (or some other named) directory which is always ignored.
