Description

I recently reported in the webextension app that the note field is not expanded and that is actually a problem for me because I add lots of "metadata" there and I often have to refer to it. So having to manually click to the bottom right of the field to extend it is a recurring problem that would be solved with an automatically growing text field. See screen shots.

Benefit / value

Better use of vertical screens, adaptative layouts seems almost always better (within reason).

Risk / caveats

I guess that for some bugged layouts the text field could take too much space? But in those situation I doubt the original layout would be fine to begin with.
Maybe displaying the entirety of the note could be a problem for over the shoulder hacking? Indeed the password is obscured by default but then a dropdown for the note field would be better than displaying only a few lines.

Sponsorship

I am willing to donate $15 for an enhancement of the legibility of the note field in the webextension and nextcloud app.

Are you a developer willing to implement this feature?: no (only good at python)
