Hi there! I'm Amanda Charbonneau, and I manage the CFDE. My PhD is in Genetics, but I've worked in a wide variety of science things, and have been teaching bioinformatics skills for about 10 years. I'm occasionally on twitter at https://twitter.com/procrastinomics and my sciencey website is https://acharbonneau.github.io/ Please feel free to ask me all your data questions! |

Hi, I'm Rayna Harris. I'm a post-doc at UC Davis, but I live near Lake Tahoe where it is snowing right now ❄️ 😄 . I have a B.S in Biochemstry and a PhD in Cell & Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. I love making pretty figures in R and helping people learn new skills or tools to solve problems. You can find me on Twitter or read more on my blog |

Feel free to introduce yourself and give a little information about your research interests. This is to give people a idea of who is participating in this event, and potentially spark discussion between people with similar research interests!
Please keep in mind that this is a public forum, so don't share any sensitive information. :)
To start off -
I'm Jessica Lumian, a nearly-graduated PhD student at UC Davis. My PhD will be in microbiology, focusing on metagenomics of Antarctic cyanobacteria. As a postdoc, I'm excited to work with the Common Fund Data Ecosystem data sets, especially using the CFDE Portal to find data sets. I don't tweet much, but I'm on twitter at: twitter.com/jessicalumian
