Motion Sensor Support

Hi All,

I stupidly purchased one of the Pixie motion sensors (and buttons) without checking for HA compatibility. It works fine on it's own but I want to also trigger some Tapo smart plugs on motion. Sensor is this one

Is there any way to make this work? Or any suggest on where I could start tweaking the code to add support for this?

You will need to monitor the communication between the sensor and the app and then update the code with a new type of entity. It is not simple and will require much more than tweaking the code.

You can ask the Pixie Plus team to send me the sensor so I can add it to the integration - they have done that before with other hardware.

A workaround will be to create an automation which will turns on the Tapo plugs when the Pixie light turns on (from the sensor and otherwise).

Sorry for the late reply. I would prefer not to because I am not sure when I will have time to work on it, it may be only in few months.
