Problem description

I discovered this when setting up Kodi for somebody who needs UPnP to play videos. This is a minor bug but I think it is worth resolving.

For some reason, Kodi cannot access a file after it has been scraped from a Kodi UPnP share until you leave the video info page and come back to it.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Using the latest Kodi 21.2: Set up Kodi UPnP Server per https://kodi.wiki/view/UPnP instructions to share media.
  2. Connect to Kodi UPnP DLNA share and click any video. Watch it get scraped for metadata, but also see "did not manage to access the file" and when you try to play it, get toast message saying "cannot play video" even though you are connected to the DLNA share.
  3. Back out of video and then go back to video info page.
  4. See that "did not manage to access the file" message is now gone and you can play the video normally.

A very minor quirk but still has no reason to not let me play the video after the file has been scraped.

Expected behavior

I expect Nova to always play video even right after it has been scraped for metadata, without having to go back
