Add .html extension to generated page

For example, instead of /docs/get-started I'd like to have /docs/get-started.html for compatibility with the previous CMS. Is it possible with Nuxt?

I've tried modifying the route path, e.g.:

definePageMeta({
  layout: 'docs',
  path: '/:slug+\.html',
})

But it does not seem to work...
