wget installation command fails

Didn't spot a ticket on it although there are related topics so just noting it down that the wget installation didn't work with

wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/creationix/nvm/v0.10.0/install.sh | bash

Just fails silently, no response on command line.

Platform (installed from MacPorts):

Mac OS X 10.9.4
ain$ wget --version
GNU Wget 1.14

I have no problems with that command.. I'm on the OS X Yosemite beta and have wget installed through Homebrew though.

@ain is this still an issue with v0.11.1? I'll reopen if so.

I reinstalled wget with MacPorts, could have been corrupt. 0.11.1 installed now, thanks.
