This is observed with both OMPI main and v5.0 release branch.

Built on Mac and Rocky Linux 9 from Git clone - same behavior.

Singletons are not capturing ctrl-C and therefore are not cleaning up after themselves. Instead, they just terminate, leaving any temporary files behind. This is a regression from past OMPI releases.
