NodeJS metrics, Dependency Version Change. Error Message:"TypeError: requestCount.bind is not a function"

Was following this get-started instructions on NodeJS on metrics to write my monitoring.js file. Then I was running into an error message indicating:

"TypeError: requestCount.bind is not a function" in monitoring.js

Solution:
Change sdk-metrics-base version in package.json file to:

"@opentelemetry/sdk-metrics-base": "^0.27.0",

Following https://www.npmjs.com/package/@opentelemetry/sdk-metrics-base

The OpenTelemetry SDK in this directory is undergoing drastic changes. If you need to use metrics, we recommend you use version 0.27.0.

The changes are by and large done. I am actually going to remove that disclaimer today or tomorrow. I am working on docs for the new metrics API/SDK

Sounds good! Unfortunately the latest version of sdk-metrics-base will throw me that error when starting app.js. Therefore I have to use the 0.27.0 version to follow the tutorial.
Looking forward to use the new metrics API/SDK. Thanks.
