container stop operation does not work well

I am running containerz on linux.

1. Whenever I run container stop, it gets stuck.
2. If I try to run it with --force, the container is stopped, but I receive the following error:

go run ./containerz.go container stop --instance peaceful_gates --force

Error: rpc error: code = Unknown desc = Error response from daemon: removal of container peaceful_gates is already in progress
Usage:
  containerz container stop [flags]

Flags:
      --force             Forcefully stop the container.
  -h, --help              help for stop
      --instance string   Container instance to stop.

Global Flags:
      --addr string    Containerz listen port. (default ":19999")
      --image string   container image name
      --tag string     container image tag (default "latest")

exit status 1

Running the linux docker command directly works.
